Trekking in Nepal

Annapurna Region

This area which lies to the north of Pokhara, in the Annapurna region, offers dramatic views of some of the most majestic mountains in Nepal. From Pokhara the trail rises as high as 2,500 meters, at Panchasey Hill. The wide range of climate and unusual geographic features of this area make it a naturalist’s paradise.

The trail frequently breaks from the “beaten path”, allowing you to come in contact with locals, and eventually winds into the Kali Gandaki Valley, one of the world’s deepest gorges. Trekking in this area is relatively easy and it allows you to witness the grandeur of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains along with scenic Gurung villages and beautifully terraced rice fields.
